Bio

Katrina Locklin is the Artistic Director of Urban Grace Dance of Roan Mountain and has been teaching various styles of dance for over 30 years nationwide. Originally from Connecticut, Katrina furthered her dance education in Boston, MA where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Among her accomplishments, she has performed professionally with several multi-disciplinary dance companies, dance troupes and in community theater. Her choreography has spanned from school and studio performances and competitions, to full stage productions, as well as television and video. Katrina focuses on teaching proper technique in a fun, relaxed atmosphere where students are encouraged to be themselves and welcomes all ages, levels and abilities in her all inclusive classes.

Katrina resides in Roan Mountain, TN with her husband Jay and children Jacob, Jennifer and Halley. They attend Banner Elk Christian Fellowship in Banner Elk, NC.
